The agreement, which started in January 2012, will include work to the Council’s commercial premises across Oxfordshire.</p><p>ICE will supply all trades, including electrical, painting and decorating, carpentry, roofing and construction projects over £5000. The services will be provided on a 24-hour reactive basis, in addition to planned maintenance and cyclical works.</p><p>Rory Bowers, Contracts Manager at ICE, commented: “The Framework Agreement presents an excellent opportunity to develop strong relationships with both the Council and Local Authorities in the surrounding regions. The aim is to provide a printable checklist that Bursars can use to identify appropriate contractors for their schools, colleges and universities. The checklist is broken down into three areas: requirements of the contractor, their operatives, and finally the standard of work.</p><p>&#160;</p><p><strong>1. Firstly the contractor must:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>1.1 Ensure that hassle and disruption is minimised.</p><p>1.2 Offer updates on the latest project developments by making photos and diary notes available.</p><p>1.3 Maintain a clean and tidy site for the duration of the project.</p><p>1.4 Go the extra mile to deliver value for money.</p><p>&#160;</p><p><strong>2. All operatives must:</strong></p><p><strong></strong>2.1 Have a full CRB check.</p><p>2.2 Wear a clearly identifiable uniform.</p><p>2.3 Carry a company identification card at all times.</p><p>&#160;</p><p><strong>3. By creating an account you can filter the opportunities that are relevant to your business, and track them daily.</p><p>The key factors to consider when working towards larger contracts are 1) your company’s experience 2) is the opportunity local 3) can we deliver the contract.
